Love Beauty

Identification: Large, long conic. The base colour is yellow over which is a red wash on the sun exposed face, fading to red striping in the shaded areas. The eye is medium size and partly open, set in a shallow, open basin which is surrounded by a lightly knobbed crown. The stem is short and set in a medium depth, funnel shaped cavity which is russeted green.

Characteristics: The flesh is Juicy and sweet. Mild flavour. Keeps three months in cold storage.

Cultivation: Moderately vigorous. Ready for harvest in the first half of the FOURTH period.
